If a child is attending a school that is not currently meeting his/her needs, AAA Scholarship Foundation may have the help they need to attend an eligible private school.
AAA has funds available to assist low-income, foster and out-of-home care students afford to attend an eligible Kindergarten – 12th grade private school of their parent/guardian’s choice this school year (2017-2018).
Students may qualify for a scholarship if:
- He/She is enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade, and
- He/She was at least 5 years old but not 22 years old or older on September 1, 2017, and
- Their household income is at or below 250 percent of Federal poverty guidelines, or
- He/She has been placed in foster or out-of-home care
Scholarship values range from $7,004 to $3,210 per student depending on household income and grade level.
Eligible students must be accepted by an eligible private school under their normal admissions policy and must follow all academic and discipline policies of the individual school. Schools are free to dismiss students who do not comply.
