Our donors are companies and individuals who care about their community and desire the opportunity to partner with AAA Scholarship Foundation, low-income families and families with disabled students in an effort to create a brighter future for all of our children.
Any company that pays income, insurance premium, alcoholic beverage excise, direct pay sales and use, and oil and/or gas production taxes in Florida can redirect a percentage of that liability to AAA so that we can fund scholarships for low-income children – and your company will get a dollar-for-dollar tax credit. The 2019 program cap currently remains at $874 million. Although policymakers recently raised the family income eligibility cap to include middle-income families, AAA will only fund scholarships for low-income children.
To enroll, go to FL DOR’s web application: taxapps.floridarevenue.com/sfo/AllocationApplication.aspx (or here for the new Commercial Rental Sales Tax Credit application) and choose AAA Scholarship Foundation under the Contribution Section. Once approved, we will contact you to discuss the timing and nature of your remittance(s). This program has a 10-year credit carry forward provision.
Each state has individual guidelines determined by the laws of that state and the accountability guidelines of the AAA Scholarship Foundation. Please click on the links below to view details on participation for each type of eligible Florida tax.
