Nevada Opportunity Scholarships
What are Opportunity Scholarships? Opportunity Scholarships are private school scholarships for kindergarten-12th grade students who live in households whose income level does not exceed 300 percent of federal poverty guidelines. Parents and guardians of eligible and funded students can apply the scholarship toward tuition, fees, and transportation costs associated with attending an eligible k-12 private Nevada school.
AAA is a state approved Scholarship Granting Organization (“SGO”) that awards Nevada Opportunity Scholarships of up to $9,300 per eligible student per year. Scroll down to the Scholarship Values section at the bottom of this page for more information.
Please check back here in mid-March 2026 for information on how to renew your student’s AAA scholarship for the 26-27 school year.

Renewing and previously waitlisted students and their add-on siblings**:
1) How to apply: We will be emailing you when it is time to apply. You MUST use the link in the invitation that AAA emailed to you. Contact us if you need us to resend the invitation.
2) Deadline: The application submission deadline for renewing and previously waitlisted households is to be determined.
*New means you did not receive a scholarship in 2025-26 for any student in your home.
**Renewing means the student was actively using an AAA scholarship through the end of the 25-26 school year. Waitlisted means the student was found eligible for a 25-26 scholarship but funding was not available AND the student remained on the waitlist through the end of the 25-26 school year. Add-on sibling means you received AAA scholarship payments for another student in your home in 2025-26, but not for this student.

3 easy steps for using your AAA scholarship for private school
Step 1. Application Submission – Applicants must first submit their scholarship applications to AAA by the designated deadline and be found eligible.
Step 2. School Commitment Form (SCF) – Both the parent and school must confirm the student’s enrollment by submitting an SCF to AAA.
Step 3. Scholarship Payments (VR) – Both the school and parent must complete a Verification Report (“VR”) to verify continued enrollment and attendance before each quarterly scholarship payment is released. See the scholarship payment calendar at the bottom of this webpage for important dates.
